Political Shockwave: Baba‑Ahmed Tells Musawa, ‘I Won’t Argue With You, I’ll Take Your Boss’s Seat!

Baba‑Ahmed made the remark in response to Musawa’s earlier accusation that he was spreading “dangerous insinuations based on lies.”
Recall that Musawa had criticised him for suggesting that President Bola Tinubu should not have allowed Vice President Kashim Shettima to remain in office.
Speaking during an interview on Arise News, Baba‑Ahmed stressed that his focus remains fixed on a bigger mission: removing Tinubu from power.
“Don’t expect me to join issues with this woman. I will not,” he said.
“I have been on a mission to take away her boss’s job, and I will not allow her to distract me.”
He also doubled down on his earlier controversial statement questioning the circumstances surrounding Tinubu’s election declaration.
“I am holding my head high, and I repeat here again… evils do happen in societies like Nigeria, and our politics is not immune to that,” he said.
On the reported links between FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Labour Party Chairman Julius Abure, Baba‑Ahmed sounded a warning:
“Whoever captured a country like Nigeria as easily as they did—there’s nothing else they won’t try. Between 2023 and 2027, their aim is to destroy all the parties,” he said.
In a pointed swipe, he added:
“Uncontainable is welcome to continue spending Nigerian resources to wreck Nigerian political parties, using the likes of Wike… but as Nigerians say, one day the monkey goes to the market and doesn’t return.”
