According to NIVONEWS, the Presidency emphasized that the administration is channeling Nigeria’s wealth into high-impact projects across various sectors, fully aligned with the Renewed Hope agenda. The clarification was made by Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Communications, via a post on his official X handle on Saturday.
Dare noted that President Tinubu’s economic reforms are already yielding results, especially in grassroots economic empowerment. One such initiative, he said, is the presidential loan and grant scheme targeting over 900,000 small-scale enterprises — including nano-businesses and manufacturers — to stimulate productivity and combat unemployment.
According to NIVONEWS, Dare explained that these microeconomic interventions are designed to foster inclusive development and reduce poverty by empowering Nigerians where they are most economically active — at the grassroots.
Another key area of investment, he disclosed, is the massive rollout of transport and road infrastructure. “President Tinubu is currently funding over 440 projects nationwide, including the construction of more than 2,700 kilometres of superhighways that span both coastal and inland corridors,” Dare said, adding that these roads aim to enhance national connectivity, reduce logistics costs, and unlock new markets for producers.
According to NIVONEWS, the Presidency reiterated that these infrastructure investments form part of a broader strategy to modernize Nigeria’s economic landscape by bolstering agriculture, manufacturing, and trade.
