Tacha, a former Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ housemate, recently returned to Nigeria after spending four months in the United Kingdom. Upon her arrival, she posted a dramatic video capturing the moment she was warmly welcomed by fans and escorted in grand style.

However, the video drew criticism from Buchi, who took to social media to mock the display. According to him, Nigerian celebrities avoid relocating abroad because they miss the adulation they receive at home.

“This is literally why Nigerian celebrities don’t like moving abroad — they’ll miss the jobless Nigerians who fawn over them like this,” Buchi wrote. “People abroad won’t idolize you, especially if you’re not someone of real substance or value. Even the UK Prime Minister doesn’t get this kind of reception.”

Tacha didn’t take the jab lightly. In a fiery clapback on X (formerly Twitter), she slammed Buchi as the “real jobless Nigerian” for inserting himself into her affairs.

“Imagine calling Nigerians jobless while sitting with a mic and professional camera to talk about me — screams joblessness,” she wrote. “You should be thanking your wife for giving you a roof over your head. You’ve been in the UK for God knows how long, yet no job. Just a ring-light house husband… cry baby, cryyy.”
