Speaking as a guest on the Dear Ife series hosted by media personality Ifedayo Agoro, the mother of two described the move as one of the best decisions she’s ever made.

The Edo-born actress explained that maintaining privacy around her marital life has allowed her to remain grounded and focused, shielding her relationship from external influences and social media pressure.

According to her, the decision has helped define and protect the dynamics between her and her husband, who is able to live his life free from public scrutiny.

“It’s honestly one of the best choices I’ve made. It keeps me grounded and lets me manage my relationship without interference. People don’t know him, and that protects him from unnecessary pressure,” she said.

Kadiri clarified that she is not hiding her husband but simply choosing not to put him in the public spotlight. She added that those close to her know him well and that he frequently attends events with her.

“My husband is not a secret. Those around me know him. We go to church together, attend events, and he even appears in pictures shared by others. He’s just a very private person who prefers to post scriptures rather than photos—even on his social media,” she explained.

She also highlighted the often-overlooked pressure celebrities face in their marriages, adding that maintaining this boundary has brought her peace, especially as her career continues to thrive.
