Defame Me Again and I’ll Spill Everything!” — Ringim Issues Fiery Warning to Ex-Governor Lamido
The NNPP’s 2023 governorship candidate in Jigawa State, Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, has threatened to reveal undisclosed details about former Governor Sule Lamido, following allegations made against him in Lamido’s newly published autobiography.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Sule Lamido’s newly launched autobiography, “Being True to Myself,” traces Nigeria’s political journey from the end of the Second Republic to the dawn of the Fourth, but it’s already stirring controversy.
Reacting to the book at a party meeting in Taura LGA on Wednesday, NNPP chieftain Malam Aminu Ringim accused Lamido of twisting facts and rewriting history to serve personal interests.
Ringim said Lamido unfairly blamed key political figures—such as ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and former leaders Abdulsalami Abubakar and Ibrahim Babangida—for perceived injustices, while painting himself as a spotless hero.
“He claims PDP lost the 2015 governorship election because of me, calling me spiteful. That’s not just false—it’s hypocritical,” Ringim said. “Lamido knows exactly what role he played in that defeat. I was there. I know his political moves and even his private life. If he keeps defaming me, I’ll have no choice but to go public with truths that may embarrass him deeply.”
