Game-Changer! Aiyedatiwa Sets Political Stage Ablaze with 12 Commissioner Nominees

The development was announced in a statement on Thursday by the governor’s spokesperson, Ebenezer Adeniyan, who confirmed that the list had already been forwarded to the legislative arm for consideration.
In the letter accompanying the nominees, Governor Aiyedatiwa urged lawmakers to treat the request with urgency.
“I would deeply appreciate the Honourable House’s swift consideration of this request in the best interest of our dear state,” the letter stated.
The list includes prominent figures such as Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, a distinguished academic and former Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, who also served as Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic.

Reacting to his nomination, Prof. Ajibefun expressed gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
“I see this as yet another opportunity to serve the state. With God on my side, I am ready to give it my all,” he said in a text message to Punch on Friday.
