Kaduna to Commence Airlift of Over 4,000 Pilgrims for 2025 Hajj on May 14
The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has announced that the airlifting of pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj will officially begin on May 14.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
This was disclosed by the agency’s Executive Chairman, Malam Salihu Abubakar, through a statement released by its Public Relations Officer, Malam Yunusa Abdullahi, on Tuesday in Kaduna.
According to the statement, a total of 4,060 intending pilgrims from Kaduna are scheduled to perform the pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, with UMZA Airline designated as the official carrier for the journey.
As part of the preparations, all pilgrims will undergo comprehensive medical screening at the Hajj Transit Camp in Mando, in line with international travel requirements and Saudi health protocols.
Abubakar noted that female pilgrims will be subject to mandatory pregnancy testing prior to departure, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia’s health and safety regulations.
He further advised all pilgrims to strictly follow the rules, codes of conduct, and group coordination directives provided by Saudi authorities to ensure a smooth and spiritually rewarding experience.
The agency reassured the public of its full commitment to facilitating a seamless and secure pilgrimage, and urged the public to support the pilgrims with prayers for a successful journey.
