Coalition Demands Arrest of Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Over Brutal Killing of Two Young Men in Nasarawa

The Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL) has urgently called for the arrest of suspected Fulani herdsmen responsible for the brutal killings of two young men in Angwan Doka 2, New Nyanya, Nasarawa State. The altercation that ensued led to the fatal stabbing of the two men by the suspected herders.

In a statement released on Friday, CONYL President General, Goodluck Ibem, condemned the act as a grave violation of human dignity and a clear sign of increasing lawlessness. He emphasized the need for immediate arrest, investigation, and prosecution of those responsible for the heinous act.

Ibem expressed his dismay over the prioritization of livestock over human life and called for strict actions to prevent further impunity. He warned that failure to punish the crime would set a dangerous precedent for future lawlessness in the society.
