Jos Tragedy: Two Children Found Dead in Parked Car Near Church, One Survives
In a tragic incident that has shaken the Kuru District of Jos South Local Government Area in Plateau State, two out of three missing siblings were found dead inside a parked vehicle, while the third is currently receiving medical treatment.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The children — Diamond, Enoch, and Roseline — had been reported missing by their father, Mr. Samuel Jang, after they left home on April 27, 2025, to attend a Catholic church service at the Dan Karang Trade Centre and never returned.
They were later discovered unconscious inside a tinted Honda car registered to one Mr. Davou Aka Fire, parked close to the church premises. Upon discovery, all three were immediately rushed to Vom Christian Hospital, where two of the children were confirmed dead. The surviving child remains hospitalized in a critical but stable condition.
Following the discovery, emotions flared in the community, with an angry crowd attempting to take the law into their own hands by attacking the vehicle owner. However, officers from the Kuru Police Division, under the leadership of Supol K/Vom, swiftly intervened and prevented mob violence.
The suspect has since been taken into protective custody and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the children’s deaths continue.
The heartbreaking event has sparked widespread grief and calls for a thorough investigation to uncover the truth and ensure justice is served.
