FG Reassigns Pro-Chancellors of Dutsin-Ma, Birnin Kebbi Universities
The Federal Government has sanctioned the reassignment of pro-chancellors between the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, and the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi, as part of its ongoing educational reforms.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In the new arrangement, retired Colonel Abdulmuminu Aminu, previously the Pro-Chancellor of Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, has been redeployed to Federal University, Birnin Kebbi. Conversely, Ali Abubakar Jatau, who held the position at Federal University, Birnin Kebbi, will now serve at Federal University, Dutsin-Ma.
This change takes immediate effect, according to an official statement issued Monday by Mrs. Folasade Boriowo, Director of Press and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Education.
Boriowo noted that the move aligns with the government’s broader strategy to promote equity, transparency, and enhanced governance across public universities.
Minister of Education, Dr. Olatunji Alausa, while endorsing the swaps, reiterated the administration’s focus on reinforcing the university system to deliver quality education in a conducive learning environment.
He emphasized that the leadership adjustments are part of a wider series of initiatives aimed at improving the standard and efficiency of higher education management nationwide.
