A video of the heartbreaking moment went viral on Friday, showing the content creator in apparent distress before he collapsed. According to a local resident, the family decided to bury him on Friday, following their wishes.
The late TikToker, also known for his activism in the “Justice For Mohbad” movement, had gained a significant following. Many fans were devastated by the news of his sudden death, and supporters of the movement, including the late Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, visited to offer their condolences.
In a poignant TikTok post, the late creator’s wife, Omowunmi, explained that her husband had struck his head on a stone after falling. She revealed that she was in the kitchen at the time, and neighbors initially thought he had fainted. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead the following morning.
Omowunmi shared that this was not the first time her husband had suffered a seizure, and that he had been on medication for the condition. She firmly dismissed rumors that his death was due to a spiritual attack, confirming it was a medical issue. “The last seizure occurred in February,” she said. “If I wasn’t in the kitchen at that time, I would have been able to stop him from falling.”
Her statement clarified that his health issues were linked to a chronic condition, not external factors as some speculated.
