Tinubu, Abiodun Celebrate Dangote at 68, Hail His Economic Legacy

In a message conveyed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu lauded Dangote’s profound influence on Nigeria’s industrial landscape and Africa’s broader economic progress. He hailed Dangote as a resilient and visionary entrepreneur who has revolutionized business practices across the continent.
“Aliko Dangote’s journey reflects the power of hard work, generosity, and a deep belief in Nigeria’s future,” the President said. “His commitment to building human capital and fostering national development illustrates his business brilliance and compassion.”
President Tinubu commended Dangote’s extensive investments—spanning sectors such as cement, agriculture, and the recently commissioned Dangote Refinery—highlighting their significance in Nigeria’s quest for self-reliance and job creation.
“Through these industrial ventures, Dangote has been instrumental in propelling Nigeria toward economic independence,” he added.
The President also recognized the impactful work of the Dangote Foundation, which continues to deliver essential support in healthcare, education, and poverty alleviation across Africa. He offered prayers for Dangote’s continued vitality and urged young Nigerians to emulate his entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and dedication to national service.
