Peter Obi, FRSC Zonal Commander Visit Governor Radda, Condole Over Mother’s Death

During the visit, Obi conveyed his sincere sympathies to the governor, his family, and the people of Katsina State. He was accompanied by the former Minister of Finance, Nenadi Usman, and the national spokesperson of the Labour Party, Alhaji Yunusa Tanko.
In his message, Obi stated, “We are here to sincerely convey our condolences to you and your family over the passing of your beloved mother.” He explained that he chose to visit after the holidays to provide a moment of calm and reflection, acknowledging that death is part of Allah’s divine plan.
He concluded his remarks with prayers, asking God to forgive the deceased and grant her eternal rest while giving the family and the people of Katsina the strength to endure the loss.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Zonal Commander, Ahmed Umar, also visited Governor Radda, extending his condolences. He described the loss of a mother as an irreplaceable void and prayed for the governor, his family, and the entire state to find comfort and resilience.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the governor, Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe thanked the visitors for their support during the difficult period. He acknowledged the importance of the condolence visits and appreciated their words of comfort and prayers.

The Bangbola Oyewo family of the Ese-Ola Royal House remembered him as a beloved family man, traditional leader, and an inspiration to generations of theatre practitioners.
