Tinubu Was Deceived With Pipeline Bombing – Ewor
The Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Robinson Ewor, has dismissed reports of oil pipeline bombings in the state, claiming that President Bola Tinubu was misled into declaring a state of emergency in the region. In an interview with Arise News on Wednesday, Ewor stated that the incidents at Gokana and Trans-Kalabari were oil leakages, not bombings, as reported. He clarified that the companies in charge of the pipelines had fixed the leaks promptly and emphasized that no bombing had occurred.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Ewor challenged security agencies to provide evidence of the alleged vandalism and described the reports as false.
He said,
“There has been no bombing in Rivers State. What happened at Gokana and Trans-Kalabari was a minor leakage that was fixed by the company. There was no bombing. No bombing has taken place across any of the 23 local governments in Rivers State.”
Ewor accused those behind the misinformation of deceiving President Tinubu into declaring a state of emergency. He added that the military and other security forces in the state should investigate and confirm the absence of any bombing.
“We live in Rivers State and we know what happens here. I’m telling you authoritatively, no bombing has taken place in the state.”
The PDP Chairman’s statements continue to fuel the ongoing controversy surrounding the emergency rule in Rivers State.

Integrity and Capability: He described Duke as part of a visionary leadership blueprint aimed at thinking critically, restoring national dignity, exhibiting true integrity, and offering young Nigerians a leadership style they can genuinely look up to.

Despite possessing what he considers the superior candidate, Baba-Ahmed explained why the party is actively championing a broader political alliance:
-
Consensus Over Ego: The PRP chairman emphasized that the party’s push for a mega-coalition is driven by consensus and constitutional processes rather than forcing Duke’s candidacy through on profile strength alone.
