NSCDC Announces Major Security Deployment In Katsina During Christmas Season

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 2,550 operatives in Katsina to ensure peace and safeguard critical national assets and infrastructure during the Yuletide season.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a statement issued on Tuesday, NSCDC spokesman Buhari Hamisu shared that the deployment was announced by the state command’s leader, Mr. Jamilu Indabawa, while issuing the operational order on Monday.

Indabawa highlighted that special attention would be given to churches, recreational centers, event venues, motor parks, markets, and other key facilities under federal, state, and local government control. He also mentioned that undercover operatives had been strategically placed in sensitive locations to provide timely intelligence and monitor potential security threats.

The commandant urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the nearest NSCDC office. Indabawa also instructed various department heads and security officers to ensure smooth coordination and effective patrolling throughout the state, stressing that all deployed personnel must remain disciplined, dedicated, and professional to guarantee a secure and peaceful holiday season.

NNPP Rejects Atiku, Says “We Don’t Want To Be Part Of ADC”.

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has dismissed claims by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar that it is part of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a statement on Thursday, NNPP National Secretary Ogini Olaposi said the party is not affiliated with the ADC and has no plans to join or merge with the coalition.

He clarified that the involvement of former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and members of the Kwankwasiya Movement in ADC activities does not represent the NNPP as a political party.

Olaposi also claimed that only a minority of Kwankwasiya supporters followed Kwankwaso, insisting that many of them have since joined the APC.
