Accusations Against VeryDarkMan Of Threatening Wike’s Life Proven False, Says Commentator

Published

on

Social media commentator Martins Ortse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has denied accusations of threatening the life of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), over a land dispute involving the late Colonel Paul Osakpamwan Ogbebor’s family.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The controversy began after a video surfaced online claiming that Wike had revoked land allocated to the Ogbebor family in 1981. Shortly after, a WhatsApp broadcast message circulated, alleging that VeryDarkMan had issued a threat against the minister.

In response to the claims, VeryDarkMan took to Instagram to categorically deny the allegations, emphasizing that he has never engaged in any violent or threatening behavior.

“I did not threaten Nyesom Wike’s life. I am not involved with the WhatsApp broadcast circulating,” he stated.

VDM clarified that his intention was solely to advocate for fairness, urging Wike to review the documents provided by the late Colonel’s family regarding the land in question.

“I was simply appealing to the minister to reassess the land documents submitted by the sons and family of the late Colonel Paul Osakpamwan Ogbebor, a war veteran and the first cadet of the NDA with code 001. All the land documents and allocations are legitimate,” he asserted.

He also explained that someone had edited a video he posted on WhatsApp, adding a misleading caption that made it appear as though he had issued a threat.

“There is a particular video I posted about the land that Wike revoked, and someone edited it with a new caption, making it look like I’m the one threatening,” he said, insisting that he is not involved in such actions.

VeryDarkMan reiterated that his platform is dedicated to advocating for justice and supporting oppressed individuals, stressing that he has never resorted to threats or intimidation in his activism.

“My goal is to speak up for those who are oppressed and seek justice when it is deserved. I’ve never threatened anyone’s life, so it’s hard to believe I’m now being accused of threatening Wike,” he concluded.
