Army Chief Declares Lukarawa Terror Group Will Soon Be History

Oluyede assured Nigerians that the military is intensifying efforts against the group, noting that the collaboration with Niger Republic will help bring an end to their reign of terror.

“We are hitting them hard at the Nigerian end, and once they flee to Niger, the cooperation from our neighbors will ensure their defeat,” Oluyede explained. He also emphasized the importance of cross-border collaboration to effectively address the shared threat.

During his visit to the President, Oluyede discussed his security strategy, pledging to adopt a fresh approach to improve the country’s security. He also highlighted his recent visits to operational zones, urging troops to intensify efforts in eradicating insecurity across Nigeria.
