In a statement, Ebiseni refuted claims of disqualification, insisting that the validity of their candidacy, confirmed by Ayo Olorunfemi and executed by the Abure-led National Working Committee, had never been challenged by the Party, INEC, or any court. He emphasized that no court had ordered their disqualification, as no such request had been made, and that courts do not grant reliefs that were not specifically sought.

Ebiseni accused INEC of reinstating Olorunfemi’s candidacy despite his formal withdrawal, accusing the commission of participating in what he described as a “national orchestra of electoral gangsterism.” He also claimed that INEC acted with bias by enforcing a judgment they had not properly served him or discussed in open court.

He criticized the commission for its delay in uploading their names, but for acting with unusual speed to enforce the judgment against them shortly before the election. Ebiseni also highlighted a legal battle from August 2024, where his legal team, led by Dr. O.J. Onoja, SAN, had successfully obtained a Federal High Court order to compel INEC to upload his name and that of his running mate. This order was granted on September 27, 2024, but the matter was escalated to the Supreme Court after a Notice of Appeal and a Motion for Stay of Execution were filed on November 14.

Furthermore, Ebiseni expressed disappointment over his exclusion from the gubernatorial debate, calling it a missed opportunity to present his vision for Ondo State. He also announced plans to take legal action to clear his name following media allegations of forgery made by Olorunfemi.
