Amitolu Shittu, the inaugural Field Commander of Osun Amotekun, gave this counsel, urging Tinubu to commit to eradicating banditry and similar threats to national security as a tribute to Lagbaja’s dedication to the nation.

In a statement on Friday, Shittu also extended his condolences to the Lagbaja family, the Ilobu community, and Osun State, underscoring the late COAS’s contributions to Nigeria’s safety. He emphasized the importance of winning the fight against terrorism to secure a stable future for the country, stressing that Tinubu should use his leadership to achieve lasting peace and stability.
