The partnership was officially established on Friday in Abuja, with Tuface and Mr. Tola Adekunle-Johnson, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation and MSMEs, signing the agreement.

Adekunle-Johnson emphasized that Tuface’s role as a brand ambassador for job creation and MSMEs would boost initiatives such as the National MSMEs Awards, Expanded National MSMEs Clinics, Shared Hubs for MSMEs, and various job creation programs. He expressed confidence that Tuface’s influence would increase public participation and support for small businesses and job opportunities.

“We wanted to sustain the momentum of job creation and MSME promotion, focusing on sectors of interest to our audience, particularly the entertainment and creative industry,” Adekunle-Johnson stated. “Tuface is an icon and a legend in the game, with an influential platform that will help attract private sector support for public initiatives.”

In response, Tuface expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, praising President Tinubu’s administration for focusing on youth and small businesses. He pledged to raise awareness about MSMEs, particularly among young Nigerians, and voiced his excitement about the initiative’s potential impact on individuals, communities, and the nation.

He said, “This initiative is a positive move, especially for our youth, who are often distracted. This will help guide them towards the right trajectory in life. I commend the government for its support of young people and small businesses.”

Also, Mrs. Sarah Ajayi, Deputy Director at the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), highlighted how entertainment plays a crucial role in engaging young people, noting that Tuface’s influence would help reach this demographic effectively.

“Entertainment is what attracts the youth, and having Tuface as our brand ambassador is a great decision,” Ajayi remarked.
