The announcement was made public by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who noted that the appointments are designed to enhance governance structures and boost coordination in executing the state’s development programs.

Commissioners-Designate: The names forwarded to the Gombe State House of Assembly for legislative screening and approval include Dr. Ahmed Wali Doho (Kwami LGA), Nasiru Adamu Degri (Balanga LGA), and Dr. Muhammad A. Bello (Gombe LGA).

Cabinet Replacements: Dr. Doho fills the vacancy left by Engr. Usman Maijama’a Kallamu following his election to the House of Representatives, while Degri replaces Engr. Bala Adams, who became the APC deputy governorship candidate alongside Dr. Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna.
