In related news, the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural and political group Afenifere has attributed the upcoming protest to the policies of President Bola Tinubu. Afenifere’s publicity secretary, Justice Faloye, expressed support for the protest while urging protesters to avoid violence.

Speaking on Arise TV’s Morning Show, Faloye emphasized that while Afenifere will not participate directly in the protest, they fully support the demonstrators. The group criticized the Tinubu administration’s economic policies and argued that the government’s relief measures have been inadequate.
