US And UK Clash Over Alleged Chinese Support For Russia In Ukraine War....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

A significant rift has emerged between the United States and Britain over claims regarding China’s involvement in the Russia-Ukraine war. This disagreement was highlighted during the London Defence Conference on Wednesday, where Britain’s Defence Secretary, Grant Shapps, and US National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, expressed conflicting views……CONTINUE READING

In a startling announcement, Shapps claimed that China is supplying “lethal aid” to Russia for use in Ukraine. “Today I can reveal that we have evidence that Russia and China are collaborating on combat equipment for use in Ukraine,” Shapps declared. He emphasized the severity of the situation, stating, “US and British defence intelligence can reveal that lethal aid is now flying from China to Russia and into Ukraine. And this is new intelligence which leads me to be able to declassify and reveal this fact today. I think it’s quite significant,” though he did not provide specific evidence to support his claims.

Shapps further noted a 64% increase in trade between China and Russia since the onset of the war, suggesting that both nations are mutually supporting each other. “It’s time for the world to wake up. And that means translating this moment to concrete plans and capabilities. And that starts with laying the foundations for an alliance-wide increase in spending on our collective deterrent,” he urged.

Contrarily, Sullivan challenged Shapps’s assertions, indicating a divergence in US and UK assessments. “The possibility that China might ‘provide weapons directly – lethal assistance – to Russia’ had been a concern earlier,” Sullivan acknowledged, “but we have not seen that to date.” He did, however, express concern over China’s role in bolstering Russia’s military efforts indirectly. “We do have a concern about what China is doing to fuel Russia’s war machine, not giving weapons directly, but providing inputs to Russia’s defence industrial base,” Sullivan clarified.

This discord between the US and UK over the extent and nature of China’s support for Russia underscores the complexities of international relations and intelligence assessments amidst the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
