Governor Sani emphasized the importance of leaders actively advocating for peace and unity among their followers. He commended the collaborative efforts of both the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) and CAN in fostering peace and unity within the state. Reaffirming his commitment to fulfilling promises made during his election campaign, the governor underscored Kaduna’s significance as a vital hub in northern Nigeria.

“I am committed to supporting clerics by providing vehicles to reach all parts of the state effectively to spread messages of peace and unity,” Governor Sani stated.

The newly appointed Kaduna CAN chairman, Rev Celeb Maaji, lauded the governor for his achievements within his first year in office, citing his historic attendance at a Christmas carol event as a testament to his exemplary leadership. He assured the governor of the Christian community’s support for his administration and called for the reintroduction of Christian activities such as the pilgrim’s board and Bible quiz competition in the state.
