In a post shared via his Instagram story, the ‘Samankwe’ crooner expressed frustration at someone who, according to him, infiltrated his peaceful and blessed life with the use of ‘juju, charm, and witchcraft’. Harrysong declared his intention to expose this individual to the world, asserting that the truth deserves to be known. He vowed to unveil the identity of the perpetrator, seemingly determined to confront the challenges posed by the alleged spiritual attack.

Meanwhile, the singer’s public statement comes amidst revelations made by his wife, Alexer, concerning their marriage crisis. Alexer recently disclosed in an interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze, about Harrysong’s infidelity and other challenges in their relationship. She recounted her experiences, including her husband’s admission of marrying her out of pity and his desire for a male child.

In response to Harrysong’s post, Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia criticized the singer over his marital issues, sharing her own past experiences with failed relationships. She reflected on the vulnerability of young women in their 20s, suggesting that men often target them for marriage due to their perceived susceptibility to manipulation.

Rema explained that while the romance was enjoyable and filled with positive moments at the start, it eventually became defined by emotional strain. As a global superstar, he noted that he already manages immense pressure from his public career and constant media attention. Because of this, he sought his home to be a sanctuary of peace and relaxation—a place to decompress after the demands of life on the road.

Instead, Rema described his home life as becoming a source of added tension. He characterized his former partner as manipulative, noting that the constant pressure he faced within the relationship became too much to bear.

Reflecting on his decision to walk away, Rema shared:

“My romantic relationship was beautiful but a little quite manipulative. So much pressure. Knowing the world puts so much pressure on me but coming back home is where you want to feel relieved but when you come back home and you are getting more pressure, it’s a different story. For now, I’m done.”

Ultimately, Rema chose to prioritize his own health, concluding that ending the relationship was the necessary step to reclaim his peace of mind.

A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the remand of a blogger, Nwanorue John Surpruchi, following his arraignment on charges of cyberstalking and defamation against UBA CEO Tony Elumelu.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Inspector General of Police, acting through the Force Criminal Investigation Department (ForceCID) in Lagos, brought a four-count charge against Surpruchi before Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa. The charges include conspiracy, cyberstalking, the dissemination of false information, and defamation.

According to the case file (FHC/L/316C/2026), prosecutors allege that the defendant used the X (formerly Twitter) handle @PROBLEMCHLMKYI to spread false claims on or around April 5, 2026. Specifically, the prosecution stated that Surpruchi and accomplices published fabricated stories alleging that Elumelu had divorced his wife after DNA results purportedly indicated none of his seven children were biologically his. These posts garnered significant attention, reaching approximately 1.9 million views, 1,600 reposts, and 6,300 likes. The prosecution argued that these actions were intended to expose Elumelu and his family to public ridicule, hatred, and reputational harm.

These activities are alleged to violate both the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act of 2015 and the Criminal Code Act.

Upon entering a plea of not guilty, the court addressed the defendant’s bail application. Because the prosecution needed time to respond to the recently filed motion, Justice Lewis-Allagoa adjourned the hearing until June 19, 2026. In the interim, the court ordered that Surpruchi be remanded in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service.
