Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, opened up about a challenging period in her life during an interview with Angie Martinez on Power 105.1 in New York. The ‘Kele Kele Love’ crooner disclosed that she took decisive action to remove an explicit video of herself from the internet by enlisting the help of an Information Technology expert.
Tiwa revealed that she paid the IT expert to ensure the complete removal of the viral adult tape from all mobile devices across the country after it was used in an attempt to blackmail her. Her primary concern was the potential impact on her son, expressing her biggest fear that he might one day come across the video.
In the candid interview, Tiwa emphasized the importance of safeguarding her privacy and protecting her family from the repercussions of such a personal ordeal. She shared the relief of knowing that the video had been successfully removed from circulation, providing a sense of closure to a distressing chapter in her life.

Okoye, one-half of the legendary duo P-Square, shared the revelation in a recent Instagram post, reminiscing about his younger days. He recalled training at the prestigious Pepsi Football Academy, one of Nigeria’s top grassroots football development centres.
According to the singer, his football career was progressing well, and he was even offered a chance to play professionally for Plateau United F.C. while still at the academy in Jos, all while juggling his passion for music.
He also shared a nostalgic video featuring former Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel, highlighting that they were once teammates during their junior football years.
Although he had the opportunity to play in Nigeria’s top league, Okoye admitted that his ultimate goal was to play football in Europe. However, life took him in a different direction.
Reflecting on his journey, he acknowledged that destiny led him to music—a path that has since transformed his life and career.
“Never give up! Yes, I used to play football and chase music at the same time. I was even offered the chance to play for Plateau United from Pepsi Academy back then in Jos. But my dream was always to play in Europe,” he wrote.
“Somehow, destiny chose the mic instead. Today, I’m an established and successful artiste/musician. That’s nothing but grace.”
