During a press briefing held at Hajj House in Abuja, Malam Jalal Arabi, the Executive Chairman of NAHCON, expressed confidence in the commission’s capacity to overcome challenges and ensure a seamless Hajj operation.

Arabi highlighted that the number of Nigerian Muslims participating in the 2024 Hajj is expected to exceed initial projections.

“This year’s Hajj preparations are among the most challenging and unique. Unlike in the past, we have had to adhere to strict timelines set by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” he remarked.

Arabi further mentioned the interventions by the Federal Government, including supportive policies aimed at ensuring smooth operations and minimizing tension.
