Allegations of a DSS Information Dragnet The claims originated from Livinus Nwosu, who was reportedly arrested by security operatives in Bayelsa while attempting to register to vote. Although Nwosu was later released, VDM shared a video containing messages Nwosu allegedly sent detailing his interrogation.

In the messages shared by VDM, Nwosu alleged that the authorities forcefully obtained VDM’s phone number and heavily questioned him about his relationship with both VDM and “Mazi Tunde” (Ednut).
