The arrest stemmed from allegations of cyberbullying made during Verydarkman’s public feud with Bobrisky.

Taking to Instagram, DeeOne pleaded for mercy, acknowledging Bobrisky’s transition while emphasizing that Verydarkman’s accusations were a grave error.

He stated, “Please, let him face consequences, but not too harshly; let him learn without suffering excessively. When Verydarkman alleged Bobrisky’s involvement with the Police IG and senators, I knew trouble was brewing.”

The plea sparked varied reactions, with some finding humor in the situation and others highlighting the seriousness of the allegations.

While some supported DeeOne’s stance, others emphasized the importance of avoiding baseless accusations on social media.

In an interview with YouTuber Korty EO, the award-winning rapper recalled unsettling incidents during live performances, including moments where fans rushed the stage and attempted to snatch items like his chain or hat.

He described the experiences as frightening, adding that they have continued to affect his confidence whenever he steps on stage.

“I get nervous every time I am going on the stage. I have had too many crazy experiences while performing. Someone from nowhere will just come and grab your chain or your hat, you don’t even know what to expect,” he said.

Meanwhile, Asake has reaffirmed that he still holds deep respect and loyalty for his former record label boss, Olamide, despite ongoing speculation about a fallout between them.

The singer addressed the rumours in the same interview with Korty EO, insisting there is no bad blood between them.

Speculation about a rift began in December 2024 after Asake removed YBNL from his Instagram bio and unfollowed Olamide, moves that fueled reports of a split.

He later went on to establish his own record label, Giran Republic, a decision that sparked widespread reactions and questions within the music industry about the status of their relationship.

News reports that Joshua will first make his return to the ring against Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25, as he looks to rebuild his career following a difficult end to 2025.

The highly anticipated showdown between Joshua and Fury has been in the works for years, despite multiple failed negotiations. Both fighters are two-time heavyweight world champions and have dominated British boxing on the global stage for over a decade. On Monday, April 27, Hearn announced on social media that the long-awaited bout is now “signed, sealed and delivered.”

However, Joshua must first get past Prenga, an Albanian heavyweight with 20 wins—all by knockout—and one loss.

Joshua has not fought since his bout with Jake Paul in December. Later that month, he experienced personal tragedy in Nigeria when a vehicle carrying members of his team was involved in a crash that claimed two lives.

“It’s no secret I’ve taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready for stepping back into the ring and today is the next step on that journey,” Joshua said.

While an official date and venue for the Joshua-Fury clash is yet to be confirmed, Hearn previously hinted the fight could take place in November on Netflix.

Joshua recently watched Fury’s comeback victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov, after which Fury called him out following a comfortable decision win. Fury’s attempt to draw Joshua into the ring was, however, turned down.

Fury’s camp later insisted they had already signed their part of the agreement and were awaiting Joshua’s signature.

Expressing his readiness to return, Joshua said, “I’m looking forward to competing and picking up where I left off. As I said, the landlord will collect his rent. That is certain.”

The incident reportedly occurred while Wumi was greeting fellow actresses Ini Edo and Eniola Ajao. During the interaction, Enioluwa approached to greet her and mentioned her name, prompting an immediate reaction from the actress, who pushed him slightly aside and questioned his choice of words.

Enioluwa quickly attempted to defuse the situation, explaining that he had addressed her respectfully by saying “Aunty Wumi” while greeting her. However, Wumi insisted that she expected a more respectful approach, stressing that there should be clear regard for seniority.

Following the incident, Wumi also addressed comments about her age on her Instagram story. She noted that her youthful appearance often leads to misconceptions, adding that she completed secondary school in 2003 and urged critics to do the math to better understand her age.
