Osun APC Slams Adeleke’s Probe Of Oyetola As Cover-Up and Diversion....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Tajudeen Lawal, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has criticized Governor Ademola Adeleke’s initiative to investigate contracts awarded by his predecessor, Adegboyega Oyetola, alleging it to be a smokescreen to conceal his own alleged mismanagement of state resources……CONTINUE RAEDING

Lawal, in a statement released by the party’s spokesperson, Kola Olabisi, on Thursday, denounced the establishment of an implementation panel on the white paper regarding the review of government contracts, branding it as a diversionary tactic.

“It is ironic that an administration which bypassed due process to award road and flyover contracts to the serving deputy speaker of the state House of Assembly is now suddenly contemplating the establishment of an implementation panel for the White Paper on the Contract Review Committee,” Lawal remarked.

He further questioned the timing of Adeleke’s decision, suggesting that it coincided suspiciously with accusations leveled against him regarding the awarding of state contracts to his relatives.

“Adeleke should exercise caution, as the people of Osun are now discerning and perceptive enough to discern the true intent behind his actions, aimed at unfairly targeting the opposition for exposing the string of fraudulent activities perpetrated by his administration under the guise of executing legacy projects,” Lawal cautioned.

Describing Adeleke’s proposed probe of his predecessor as a diversionary tactic, Lawal predicted that the governor’s attempts to undermine the rising political influence of the minister would ultimately prove futile.

ROYAL KNOCKOUT: Kwankwaso Tells Atiku To Abandon Politics And Focus On Traditional Title!

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) vice-presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has advised former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar to drop his 2027 presidential ambitions, pointing to his health and age.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking in Abuja on Monday during a gathering with members of the Fulani Farmers Association at his home, Kwankwaso—who is running alongside NDC presidential standard-bearer Peter Obi—suggested that Atiku should instead shift his focus toward his traditional duties as the Wazirin Adamawa.

Addressing the delegation in Hausa, Kwankwaso asked them to convey his message directly to Atiku, acknowledging him as an elder statesman.

“Go to the Wazirin of Adamawa’s house and tell him in Fulani that he needs to focus on his traditional title of Wazirin, given his age and health,” he stated.

He also assured that if he and Obi emerge victorious in the 2027 polls, they will ensure Atiku continues to receive proper backing.

“If Allah grants us success, we will take good care of him, especially since you all come from Adamawa. An apology should be offered to him,” Kwankwaso added.

Atiku, a long-standing figure in Nigerian politics, has run for the presidency multiple times, securing major party tickets in 2007, 2019, and 2023. Back in April, the former vice-president—who turns 81 in 2027—announced that the upcoming election cycle would mark his final bid for the presidency.
