Last year, Steven and his wife appeared on a Nigerian TV courtroom show to address the issue. Steven recounted that prior to their marriage, they both underwent genotype tests which showed he was AA while his wife was AS. However, their son was diagnosed with an SS genotype at the age of two, leading Steven to question his paternity.

Despite repeated tests confirming his SS genotype, Steven remained confused but continued living with his wife until he decided to undergo a DNA test in March or April last year.

The DNA test results, revealed in court, showed a 0% probability of paternity, leaving Steven shattered. His wife, acknowledging the truth of his claims, maintained that nobody else was involved.

The judge ordered another DNA test between the wife and the child, but the wife has since refused to participate, leaving Steven in a state of emotional turmoil.
