He declared, “Even as they attempt to strip me of my leadership responsibilities within the party, I will not relinquish them to anyone. The APC has not extended an invitation to me. I am dedicated to the PDP.”

Emphasizing the need for unity within the party post-election, Ortom stressed the futility of assigning blame for past electoral outcomes, urging a collective focus on future endeavors.

“PDP remains the formidable party receptive to the aspirations of the people. With our renewed dedication, we will invigorate the party for the future. We will succeed in upcoming elections,” Ortom affirmed.

Dismissing rumors of friction with Abba Moro and Gabriel Suswam, Ortom underscored the imperative of party solidarity and strategic planning to reclaim power.

Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro criticized the APC for its internal crises and mismanagement since assuming office.

He remarked, “Their inability to wield power effectively is evident. Let us remain steadfast as brighter days are ahead. We must reconnect the party with the people and uphold transparency.”

Former Senator Gabriel Suswam urged the party to learn from past setbacks, emphasizing unity among its leaders to counter divisive forces.
