“POLITICAL CRACKDOWN: POLICE UNLEASH EXPLOSIVE REASONS WHY ADC SUPPORTERS WERE VIOLENTLY SCATTERED IN KADUNA!”
The Kaduna State Police Command has officially addressed the dispersal of African Democratic Congress (ADC) supporters within the state, clarifying that the intervention was a necessary response to escalating public disorder and not a politically motivated action.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a statement released by Public Relations Officer DSP Mansir Hassan, the Command explained that the sequence of events began with a distress call from security personnel at Murtala Square, reporting that individuals were attempting to forcibly breach the facility’s premises. Police were immediately dispatched to de-escalate the situation and uphold public order.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a large crowd carrying banners marked with the “ADC” acronym. The police instructed the group that any planned event or access to Murtala Square required authorization and must follow established legal procedures. Initially, after this consultation, police withdrew from the scene as the situation appeared to be contained.
However, the Command stated that the group subsequently moved to WAFF Road, a major commercial thoroughfare in the metropolis, and proceeded towards NEPA Roundabout. The PPRO confirmed that protesters blocked the roadway, causing a complete standstill in vehicular traffic. This obstruction resulted in significant congestion and growing frustration among motorists and cyclists, leading to confrontations and a breakdown of public order.
Faced with this escalating security threat, police intervened to restore normalcy. DSP Hassan stated that “minimal and proportionate force, including tear gas,” was employed to disperse the crowd and prevent further chaos.
While emphasizing the Command’s respect for constitutional rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, Hassan stressed that such rights must be exercised within the confines of the law. He asserted that citizens do not have the right to block major public roads, infringe upon the rights of others, or compromise public safety.
The PPRO concluded by clarifying that the police had no intention of stopping a lawful political gathering. He reiterated that the incident was a reactive security response to illegal actions on WAFF Road and not an effort to suppress political expression.

“DIGITAL GOLDMIND: FG UNLEASHES SHOCKING FREE 100MB DAILY DATA BONANZA FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS!”.

Scheduled to roll out on October 1, 2026, the program will initially target individuals enrolled in public tertiary institutions and public senior secondary schools. Minister of Education Dr. Tunji Alausa shared the official timeline in Abuja during the inauguration of the Initiative for Zero-Rated Access to Educational Platforms and Content in Nigeria.
Formulated by the Nigerian Communications Commission alongside telecommunications providers and the Federal Ministry of Education, the scheme requires partner mobile networks to supply eligible students with zero-rated data for specific educational platforms. Alausa noted that the rollout will progressively scale to encompass other demographics of students.
According to the minister, the project was conceived to mitigate the heavy financial burden of internet connectivity, which frequently hinders students from lower-income backgrounds. By waiving data fees on designated academic platforms, the government hopes to transform everyday devices like computers, tablets, and smartphones into functional digital classrooms and virtual libraries for students who lack consistent access to physical educational infrastructure.
