This spiritual strength is the elixir that energizes the vibes for their successes in the year. This year’s gathering was exceptional in all ramifications as it was sorely driven by fervent chain prayers, round-the-clock fasting, unprecedented evangelism, godly commitment and as expected all these contributed to produce fantastic experiences of salvation, sanctification, deliverance, Holy Ghost baptism and absolute faith in God which have become enduring among participants. Although the program was tagged LAGOS EXPERIENCE but these experiences were not gained by the Lagos participants alone but those from Philippians, American, South Africans, Canadians, Chinese, Britain, UAE, Ghanaians and other parts of the world were beneficiaries of the breathtaking experiences.

This mega crusade has carved its name in the annals of crusade in this part of the world. The arrival of the participants was first noticed three days earlier than the scheduled day. And from that time until the program kickstarted, the inflow was overwhelming. The first day of the program witnessed overflow and that was the case throughout other days. In all the 4 days of the program, there was clear evidence that heaven visited the earth thus the program was characterized by signs and wonders.

The program with theme, ‘WHAT GOD HAS DETERMINED SHALL BE DONE’ started 8 am as scheduled on the first day but When the congregants saw the exceeding greatness of the power of God as put forward through the preaching of the man of God on the first day, their hunger and thirsty for the gift of the Holy Spirit was resonated, and they became reluctant to let go for the day, that prompted the Pastor to announce a change in resumption of service from 7 am for the remaining days. Of course the Scripture says, “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power”. On the first day of the crusade, various choir groups from different nations took their turns to minister to the congregation before the man of God mounted the pulpit. Among the choirs were the Beninese choir, Ghanaian, Ivorian, Philippians, Togolese, South Sudanese and Nigeria Children, Youth, Campus and Central choirs and the Duet sisters’ choristers. All of these choirs thrilled the audience with soothing rendition of different rhythms that elicited their faith and expectation.

After the choir ministration came the turn of those that were divinely visited at the point of their needs in the previous meeting. Tens of testifiers among hundreds that came out were given opportunity to share their testimonies. The first testifier in this segment was Sis Ogechi Agumaeme from Rivers State who said that her husband was relieved from his job for no just reason and as she presented the matter to God of Chosen on a deliverance service, the Pastor prophetically pointed it out during prayers and the husband’s job was restored.

Also, Sis. Angela Fabian testified of stooling a 13 year old fibroid after she put into practice the teachings of the Pastor on evangelism. She said while evangelizing at a bus stop according to pastor’s instruction she felt something was coming out of her, as a result she dashed home only to discover it was fibroid that pulled out of her body. That ended 13 years yoke of fibroid. Sis Eberechukwu said that for 3yrs and 10 Months she was pregnant and in the course of seeking for deliverance she visited many prayer homes and consulted many native doctors but to no avail. However, the very day she stepped her feet in Chosen through the invitation of a friend, was the day her problem came to an end. According to her, as Pastor was ministering he made a prophetic utterance of her case and declared that she should go and deliver like Hebrew woman. Lo and behold the moment she heard that word of knowledge labour started instantaneously and within few hours she was delivered of a bouncing baby boy.

Sis Amaka who resides in Lagos also testified that being a victim of 7 months stroke, she was brought to the church on one of the services and after Pastor’s prayer, she received her healing. There were to the glory of God hundreds of other testifiers on that first day before the Pastor was ushered into the Pulpit. As soon as he announced his present with a loud ‘Amen’, the congregation of about one million responded with a thunderous ovation that reverberated the arena.

Before praying for the congregants, the cleric cautioned the congregants against wandering about while the program was ongoing, he also assured them that their honouring the invitation of God to come from far and near will never be in vain because God who invited them has more than enough for them. ‘I want you to be assured that God who inspired the theme knows your needs respectively and is ready to bless you. So be in expectation because no problem of yours will escape the sword of the Lord today’, the cleric averred. Continuing he said, ‘The testimonies you heard was just an appetizer of the greater things that will happen in the course of this program, because everyone must go home with a miracle. I want to assure you that, the problem you brought here must not go back with you in Jesus name’. This statement was greeted with deafening affirmation that could awake the dead. Thereafter the stage became charged for extraordinary intervention of the power of God.

‘I Will Stop Campaigning If You See Anything Contrary In That Bank Account’ – Peter Obi.

Published

on

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has declared that he will halt his 2027 presidential campaign if any discrepancies are found in the financial records of the First Bank account he handed over when leaving office as Anambra State Governor.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Context of the Controversy

The challenge comes in response to statements from the current administration of Governor Charles Soludo. According to the state’s Commissioner for Finance, Izuchukwu Okafor, who spoke on Sunday via the state’s New Media team podcast (Ndi Anambra), the current government is still servicing legacy loans inherited from past administrations, including those of Peter Obi and Willie Obiano. While noting that Soludo’s government has avoided taking on fresh commercial bank loans, Okafor highlighted these past liabilities as part of ongoing financial commitments.

Peter Obi’s Defense

In a widely circulated video addressing a journalist, Obi vehemently maintained a clean record, stating he left office nearly 13 years ago without owing any salaries, pensions, gratuities, contractors, or suppliers.

Detailing the exact financial status upon his departure, Obi stated:

“On the day I left office… there was a balance of over 2 billion left in First Bank. It was dedicated to a project that was meant to be ongoing, and it was a contribution from the Federal Bank of Nigeria that came in about three months before I left office.”

He added that despite pressure from his team to spend the funds, he preserved them to ensure a smooth transition for his successor, emphasizing his belief in the continuity of government. Offering to make the account details public, Obi dared critics to verify his claims, firmly concluding that he would immediately step down from campaigning if any contrary evidence is uncovered.
