Joseph Aloba further questioned how his 26-year-old son, who was a graduate, would thumbprint his will instead of signing it.

Mohbad’s father alleged that Wunmi, alongside her lawyer, used the singer’s finger to thumbprint on the will after his death.

However, reacting in a statement shared via the late singer’s Instagram page on Monday, his management described the claim as false and misleading.

The statement further disclosed that no member of Mohbad’s management or lawyers have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document the father is speculating.

The statement partly read, “No members of Mohbad’s management or his lawyer have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document (as has recently been FALSELY reported) to any member of the family or the public.

” We would like to state with certainty that if any such document did exist, it would have been duly registered with the Probate Registry. We therefore plead with everyone to refrain from sharing false and misleading statements like this.”

The management noted that “Al accounts owned and controlled by Imole during his lifetime were immediately put on a Post No Debit order on the 12th of September, 2023. This order remains valid till date.”

It added that the accounts “will be properly handed over to the family upon resolution of the internal dispute.”

The African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has accused Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji of taking possession of mobile phones and other electronic devices stolen during an attack on him and his team.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

It would be recalled that Sowore and members of his team were reportedly attacked in Ekiti State last week, an incident he described as an assassination attempt.

In a post on X on Tuesday, the activist alleged that the Ekiti State Government had refused to return the stolen devices, despite claims that they had been traced to the Government House.

Sowore questioned why the governor would allegedly seek possession of devices that could serve as evidence in the investigation into the attack.

“We have been informed that Governor Biodun Oyebanji personally instructed the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, Commander, Ogidan, to hand over our recovered devices to him yesterday. Why would the governor take possession of evidence connected to the brutal attack on us?” he queried.

The AAC presidential candidate also criticised the police and the Department of State Services (DSS), accusing them of remaining silent after he released videos showing the faces of those allegedly involved in the attack on October 30.

According to Sowore, neither the governor nor the Commissioner of Police or the DSS had made any public statement or announced arrests of the alleged principal suspects.

He further claimed that some of the individuals seen in the videos had attended meetings where plans were allegedly being made for President Bola Tinubu’s campaign activities in Ekiti State.

“Since we released the chilling videos exposing the faces of members of the armed gang that tried to kill us on October 30, the Ekiti State Governor, Commissioner of Police, and DSS have all suddenly gone silent! No arrests of the key culprit who have been seen in meetings planning for Tinubu’s campaign coming up in Ekiti soon. Not a word from the Governor. Not a word from the Commissioner of Police. Not a word from the DSS,” he wrote.

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has said the state needs a street-smart and credible leader capable of driving its development.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Oborevwori made the statement while speaking at a reception held in his honour in Isoko, where he highlighted his commitment to the state and urged residents to support his administration.

The governor said Delta State was his only home, questioning why he would not prioritise its development when he lives there.

He also called on residents to vote massively for him, President Bola Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 elections.

Oborevwori said:

“I have instruments to campaign, I have work to do. If you talk about street credibility, street wisdom, street smart, it’s only somebody that is street smart that can do this for you because I live with you here. I don’t have a second home; the only home that I have is Delta State. I stay here more.

“So, why don’t I develop a state where I stay, where I live? It’s important to expect more because my agenda is more. I have said it openly: ask and it shall be given; the bible said it, you ask it, and I will say no? Why are we expecting more? We can also be proud of the progress that we have made.

“And so, the largest room in the world is the room for improvement, and with your continuous support and encouragement, we shall continue to do more while consolidating the achievements of the last three years of our administration.

“Turn this adjustment into a massive vote for President Tinubu, myself, and all APC candidates in Delta State. Continue to trust us and pray for us.”

Northern Governors Won’t Back Atiku’ – Wike’s Aide Explains Why.

Published

on

The Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, Lere Olayinka, has claimed that northern governors with presidential ambitions for 2031 will not support the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the 2027 election.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Olayinka made the assertion during an interview with the African Independent Television (AIT), urging Nigerians not to assume that northern governors would rally behind Atiku in the forthcoming presidential election.

According to him, serving governors who hope to contest for the presidency in 2031 would be unwilling to support Atiku if his victory could keep the presidency in the North for eight years before power returns to the South.

He argued that such politicians would not want to postpone their own presidential ambitions by supporting a candidate who could serve two terms.

“Let us stop misguiding ourselves about the North, are you telling me that those aiming to be President in 2031 will support Atiku?

“People who want to be President, serving governors now who believe that in the next four years the presidency will come to the North and I can give it a try, so they would want Atiku to try so that they will wait for eight years of Atiku and the presidency will come back to the South? They will now wait for 16 years? They will not,” he said.

Speaking on the Rainbow Coalition associated with his principal, Olayinka also claimed that Nigerians across different political parties were supporting President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term.

He stressed that Wike was not the only politician outside the All Progressives Congress (APC) backing Tinubu’s re-election.

Olayinka cited members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Accord Party and Allied Peoples Movement (APM), which he said had also expressed support for the President.

He added:

“Most people in other parties like APGA, Accord, even the APM that has a candidate have said they are supporting the President. So, it’s not just Wike but I understand because Wike is a name and a phenomenon and people must talk about him, but other people are doing the same thing that he is doing.

“Our collective goal is the second tenure of President Tinubu.”
