Oyelowo Oyewo, as a move that will enhance President Bola Tinubu’s trustworthiness among Nigerians.
In an interview with the media, Oyewo commended the President’s swift response to the financial scandal, considering it a step in the right direction. He emphasized that Tinubu’s actions demonstrate that Nigerians can place their trust in him.
Oyewo further noted that in previous administrations, ministers were often treated with impunity, appearing untouchable and immune to consequences for financial impropriety.
The suspension of Dr. Betta Edu reflects a departure from this trend.
As reported by DAILY POST, President Tinubu, on Monday, directed the immediate suspension of the minister pending the conclusion of investigations into the alleged payment of over N585 million into a private account.
