Representatives of the company presented the food items at the Ark Children Home in Ikota Community, Ifedore Local Government Area, on Friday. Speaking during the ceremony, Mr. Prince Adewale Omolayo, the Public Relations Officer of the company, highlighted that this charitable act is part of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
Omolayo explained, “We decided to extend hands of fellowship to the orphanages, specifically the Motherless Babies Home, around Ondo State. We gathered almost 10 orphanage homes to this place today to give out some palliatives to celebrate with them in this Yuletide season.”
He further disclosed that arrangements were made for over 250 to 300 children, emphasizing the significance of supporting these homes during the festive season. The donation includes a truckload of rice, indomie noodles, and other essentials, demonstrating the company’s commitment to community welfare.
Mr. Emmanuel Adaramola, the Executive Director of the Emmanuel Children World Foundation, expressed gratitude for the firm’s gesture. He noted that such support goes a long way in assisting orphanages to care for the children. Adaramola hoped that this partnership with the company would continue, emphasizing the positive impact on the welfare of underprivileged children.
