The administration assured that it would decisively address all forms of criminality perpetrated by terrorists, bandits, and militants.
President Tinubu has directed security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators of the heinous killings and ensure that they face justice. Additionally, the President has instructed the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, along with other relevant agencies, to collaborate with the Plateau State Government in delivering immediate humanitarian relief to the affected communities.
The statement acknowledges the profound pain experienced by the victims of these attacks and pledges increased collaboration and support from the federal government to the state governments in the collective effort to ensure lasting peace and security in Nigeria. At the federal level, there is a concerted effort across security and intelligence agencies to enhance intelligence-gathering and crisis-response measures.
