During a Twitter space interaction on Sunday, Obi urged governments and well-meaning Nigerians to establish a foundation for compensating families affected by the incident and similar events in the past.
Last week’s bombing, attributed to the Nigerian Army, resulted in the tragic loss of at least 87 lives and left 76 others injured. In response, Obi called on security agencies to rely on credible human intelligence reports on the ground before launching any offensive attacks, emphasizing the need to prevent innocent casualties in the future.
He stated, “The bombing that happened in Kaduna that took the lives of about 120 people was never an act of God! I don’t believe in that.”
