The tragic incident occurred as the teacher lost her life in a fire at the family’s residence in Techiman, Bono region. Investigations suggest that an explosion in one of the rooms initiated the fire, resulting in significant damage to the property.

After sustaining severe burn injuries from the fire, the deceased was reportedly treated in a hospital. At the time of her passing, Ewurama was pursuing a law degree at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Although the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded to the incident, the building was already engulfed in flames upon their arrival. Eyewitnesses recount that Ewurama, the sole person at home during the fire, attempted to escape but suffered severe burn injuries in the process.

Etete’s rejection follows a similar denial from Hamza Al-Mustapha, Abacha’s former Chief Security Officer, who claims to possess CCTV footage proving the account is false. The official cause of death remains sudden illness.

Senator Francis Fadahunsi, representing Osun East, has strongly refuted claims that he formed an armed “killer squad” or plotted against opposition members ahead of the elections. However, when asked about the alleged group and why he would establish it while featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Fadahunsi rejected the claims.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain denied calling for the killing of political opponents, stressing that he opposed political violence and intimidation.

He said, “Which group? How will I rent somebody’s house and make it a terrorist house? I didn’t make my house in the village; I didn’t make my house in the town. Have I ever killed anybody? Where is the killer squad?”

“I did not say they should be killed. Whether Accord or PDP or APC, they are all my constituents; they are all my members. They know what they are doing.

“I don’t preach violence, but when it is hot, I will tell them, ‘Enough of killing.’ He should leave my people alone.” 

Fadahunsi also described the viral video on ‘kill Accord Party members’ as a manipulated recording and accused political opponents of trying to portray him as supporting violence.
