The court dismissed the case brought by Senator Aisha Dahiru Binani of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who was Fintiri’s closest challenger.
After the March 2023 polls, Binani, citing widespread irregularities and non-compliance with the electoral act, filed a petition with the Adamawa State Governorship Electoral Petitions Tribunal seeking to invalidate Fintiri’s victory.

THE BATTLE LINES ARE DRAWN: Galadima Clashes With ADC Over Master Plan To Unseat Tinubu!.
Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed support for the G-100 proposal urging the opposition to unite behind a single presidential candidate against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. This follows remarks by former African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain Salisu Lukman, who warned that a divided opposition would easily hand Tinubu a second term because no single party currently has the strength to defeat him alone.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
While acknowledging it as a step in the right direction, Galadima emphasized that the choice of a candidate must be driven by true patriotism rather than personal or partisan selfishness, highlighting electability and the physical capacity to handle a demanding, hands-on presidency as key criteria. He also stressed that pushing for a free, fair, and transparent electoral process is even more critical than focusing solely on a unified candidate.
In contrast, ADC National Publicity Secretary Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi pushed back against the push for a coalition, maintaining that an alliance is not the absolute only way to unseat Tinubu, though the party remains open to broad-based collaborations with groups sharing a similar vision for an inclusive government.
