Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, the Director-General of NAFDAC, made this announcement during a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, revealing that the World Health Organization (WHO) had granted approval to the CDCL.

This recognition is considered a significant achievement for NAFDAC, showcasing its commitment to ensuring the safety and quality of pharmaceutical products.

The WHO’s pre-qualification approval was communicated to NAFDAC on September 15, and the success has been published on the WHO website.

Prof. Adeyeye highlighted the importance of this achievement, emphasizing the global recognition, enhanced pharmaceutical quality, international collaboration, and improved public health that it brings to Nigeria.
