Breaking: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Earns The Title Of Forbes’ Most Powerful Woman In Africa

In its 20th annual ranking released on Tuesday, Forbes placed Okonjo-Iweala, a prominent Nigerian figure, at the 87th position on the list of the Most Powerful Women in the World.
This ranking positioned her ahead of Mpumi Madisa, a South African businesswoman, who secured the 88th spot.
Tanzanian President Samia Hassan also made an appearance on the list, securing the 93rd position, while Nigerian media mogul and philanthropist Mo Abudu claimed the 98th spot.
The overall global ranking for the most powerful woman in the world for 2023 went to Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission for Impactful Policy and Budget.
Christine Lagarde, the European Central Bank President, secured the second position, and U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris attained the third position.
