Ajulo, speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show, asserted that memos sent to the governor by commissioners revealed disparities in approvals compared to when the governor was in good health. He claimed that private investigators had been engaged, and their findings indicated a forged signature.

In response, Titiloye, in an interview with Nivo News, labeled Ajulo’s claim as baseless and politically motivated. He emphasized that only the governor could assert whether his signature was forged and challenged the credibility of those making such allegations.

The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs. Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, also refuted the allegation, labeling it as mischievous. She asserted that Governor Akeredolu’s signature had not been forged.

Additionally, lawyer Allen Sowore called on the Ondo State Executive Council to investigate the alleged forgery and bring the perpetrators to justice. Sowore emphasized the importance of a comprehensive inquiry to uncover the circumstances surrounding multiple signatures purportedly belonging to the governor on government documents.

Governor Akeredolu, currently recovering in his Ibadan residence after a medical vacation in Germany, has been the subject of forgery claims, which the state government vehemently denies.

Senator Ireti Kingibe, representing the Federal Capital Territory, has publicly denied endorsing a committee report that called for the suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. In an interview on Arise Television, Kingibe explained that she did not review or authorize the report, noting that she had departed from the committee meeting early to attend a tax reform retreat she deemed more vital for her constituents. Although she confirmed that a photocopy of her signature appears on the document, she clarified that she did not personally sign it and had previously expressed her frustrations to Senate leadership—specifically Senator Barau—regarding her inability to access the report. Now Or Never! Peter Obi Drops Bombshell: 2027 Could Be My Final Presidential Run!.

Published

on

During a recent interview on Nevon HQ, Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate Peter Obi indicated that the 2027 election might mark his final attempt at the presidency. Responding to a question from a secondary school student, the former Anambra Governor explained that his decision is heavily influenced by Nigeria’s political zoning system, which typically rotates power between the North and South. Obi noted that if he loses in 2027, the presidency could shift to the North in 2031, meaning power might not return to the South until he is nearly 78 years old—an age at which he does not intend to actively seek the office. While he acknowledged that political landscapes can shift, potentially leaving a narrow window for another run if power remains in the South, he emphasized that he is not banking on such a scenario.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Peter Obi has signaled that 2027 may be his last presidential campaign, citing the constraints of Nigeria’s zoning rotation.

  • Rotational Logic: Obi explained that the established pattern of rotating power between the North and South heavily dictates his political timeline.

  • Age Factor: He calculated that by the time power rotates back to the South after a potential Northern term in 2031, he would be approximately 78 years old, which he considers too old to pursue the presidency.

  • Finality: While he left a slight possibility open should the zoning dynamic change, he explicitly stated that 2027 is likely his final serious effort to attain the office.
