The event, scheduled for November 29-30 at the Marriott Mena House in Cairo, will witness the launch of the African Clubs Association. Akwa United will be represented by their chairman, Elder Paul Bassey, leading the contingent to the General Assembly Meeting.

It is noteworthy that Enyimba was previously chosen by CAF to partake in the inaugural edition of the African Football League. However, the two-time CAF Champions League winners were eliminated in the quarter-final stage of the competition.
