Among the appointees is Dr. Adetola Ariyike Salau, who assumes the role of special adviser on education, focusing on policy development in the crucial sector. Dr. Salau, an Ifelodun indigene, is a renowned education policy expert specializing in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), with a substantial body of published works.

Formerly a senior special assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Education until May 29, 2023, Dr. Salau holds a doctoral degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning from the University of Buffalo, State University of New York. Her educational journey includes a first degree from Fordham University, where she emerged as the best graduating student, and a master’s degree from Syracuse University.

The governor has also appointed Alhaji Saadu Salahu, a public relations expert and community leader, as Senior Adviser and Counsellor. Additionally, Kolo Majin Isaiah, a community leader from Patigi, has been reappointed as senior special assistant on media and public relations, a role he previously held.

Other appointees cover various portfolios such as SDGs, grassroots empowerment, non-governmental affairs, women mobilization, humanitarian affairs, social development, infrastructure, geographical information service, security, intercommunity relations, domestic affairs, labour, and digital innovation.

Noteworthy additions include Olamilekan Mukail Aileru as Special Assistant on Drugs Abuse Prevention and Control and Kayode Ishola as the Special Assistant on Digital Innovation. Various other individuals have been appointed to roles focusing on community outreach, social mobilization, urban markets, and inter-community relations.
