Mr. James Onoja, the chairman of Igalamela Local Government Area in Kogi State, was apprehended by security operatives on Saturday.
The arrest, captured in a video circulating on social media (X Platform), depicted Mr. Onoja, dressed in a white Caftan, along with several individuals, being compelled to sit on the ground.
Notably, he was found in possession of a significant amount of cash and ammunition, which were neatly packed in multiple ‘Ghana-must-go’ bags.
