Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has commended the members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), considering them a valuable resource for Nigeria. He expressed the belief that it is the responsibility of the Nigerian State to provide the NYSC scheme with the necessary tools for its success, such as the NYSC orientation course.
Governor Adeleke made this statement during the swearing-in and official opening ceremony of the 2023 Batch C Stream 1 orientation course for corps members deployed to the state at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede on Tuesday.
He urged the corps members to take full advantage of this opportunity to ask questions, explore new horizons, and use the program as a stepping stone towards their dreams and aspirations. He emphasized that success is not just about personal achievement but also about giving back to the community and making a positive impact.
Adeleke noted that the world is changing rapidly, and the youth are at the forefront of that change. He encouraged the corps members to be prepared for these changes and to take the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development program seriously.
He advised them to dream big, work hard, and be the change they want to see in the world, as the orientation program is just the beginning of their journey. He also stressed the importance of obeying rules and regulations, being law-abiding citizens, and promoting peaceful coexistence and virtues.
The Osun NYSC State Coordinator, Agbor Ndoma Obim, welcomed the newly sworn-in corps members and urged them to rise to the challenges of their service year and embrace the opportunities it offers. He also encouraged them to make a positive impact during their national service year.
He highlighted the potential for recognition and awards for outstanding performance and reminded them that they are not just participants in a program but ambassadors of unity and progress.
Agbor also urged the corps members to commit themselves to serving Nigeria with dedication and to serve their communities with selflessness. He emphasized the importance of being good ambassadors of their families and the NYSC scheme, while also cautioning against using social media platforms to spread rumors and unverified information.
A total of 2,300 corps members, including 580 males, 770 females, and 950 dislodged corps members from Lagos State, were deployed to Osun State.

“Inside The Power Play: Governors Privately Plotting Against Tinubu As 2027 Tensions Explode!”.
Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has claimed that the party’s presidential candidate can secure victory against President Bola Tinubu and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer Peter Obi by leveraging strategic support from the North. Speaking during a recent interview on Nevon Media, Momodu argued that the 2027 presidential race would be a formidable challenge for the incumbent president.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Northern Dominance: Momodu asserted that Atiku is positioned to win a majority of votes in the North, where the largest volume of votes is concentrated, potentially leaving opponents struggling in the South.
