Nigerian music sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, has declared his intention to take a break from the music industry. This announcement came through a series of Instagram posts on Sunday.

In his posts, Wizkid mentioned that he plans to step away from the music scene for a period spanning four to five years. He humorously suggested that during his hiatus, his fans might want to enjoy some of his wealth. He also playfully mentioned the idea of taking up other activities like golf, FIFA, or wrestling.
Wizkid concluded his message by expressing his concern for the well-being of his fans and the importance of spending quality time with loved ones. This decision follows the cancellation of some of his music performances due to the passing of his mother.
