Former VP’s Aide, Umar Ardo, Raises Concerns About Atiku’s Potential Expulsion From PDP....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Umar Ardo, a former Special Adviser to Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has suggested that Atiku may face expulsion from the party if he does not abandon his presidential aspirations. Ardo pointed out that PDP governors have already distanced themselves from Atiku.

This development came after Atiku criticized the Supreme Court’s ruling that confirmed President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February presidential election. Atiku expressed his determination to stay in the political arena despite this setback.

However, the PDP Governors Forum, in response to Tinubu’s intervention in the political crisis in Rivers State, pledged to collaborate with him. Bala Mohammed, the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, announced this decision following his intervention in the dispute between the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and the Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara.

Ardo’s statement argued that the PDP governors’ willingness to work with President Bola Tinubu demonstrates their shift away from Atiku. He emphasized the growing divide between Atiku and the PDP governors.

Ardo’s assessment of the situation is that, given these contrasting positions, it is only a matter of time before an inevitable clash occurs, leading to either Atiku stepping down from his presidential ambitions, leaving the PDP, or facing expulsion from the party. This is his interpretation of the political landscape.
